Good morning to you all! It's officially the holiday season, and it's my favorite time of year! It's also the hardest time of the year, both on the wallet and the waistline. What are you going to do to keep your wallet fat and your waistline trim?
Also - what are a few of your favorite Christmas songs? My absolute favorite is Wham!'s Last Christmas. I am in love with that song and I've already listed to it 2 times today.. A sickness, I know.. But it's a great song! Hopefully I'll get a few new favorites from you all! :)
Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving! What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for so many things. My health, the health of my family and friends, having a job during these rough times, our new home, having a wonderful support system, and so much more!
A little look into my life.. Finding myself after having gastric bypass surgery, and the ups and downs along the way.

Yay holidays! I am most looking forward to the end of a brutual fall semester and my upcoming surgery. Oh my goodness. Favorite christmas song: "Happy Xmas (War is Over)". My husband doesn't love the Christmas music so it is banned until after Thansgiving. Boo hoo. Oh and if you have any tips for not over spending at the holidays send them my way. :)
Ooh that's a good song too! :)
As far as saving money - get your newspaper.. there are so many good deals right now! ANd if you have a Kroger or a sister grocery store there, the turkeys are only 27 cents a pound with a $20 purchase! WOO HOO! :)
Happy thanksgiving!
Love the holidays. I've desided to not stress, and not give into the money, gifts and stress of it all.
My favorite is paul mccartney's wonderful christmas time. Love your too.
Waist line and Christmas? I'm making a plan, taking my safe foods with me. I do this each day anyway. I'll eat the candy but if Susy has a apple near by she'll be ok with picking that. Christmas is one day not a month of eating. And if I find myself in old habits or eating shit like I don't need I just remember what it was ike to weight 350 pounds and that usually makes my stomach turn and it works. :) Merry Christmas blggy friend.
