It is with great sadness that I write this. We've only had Mojo for a few short weeks, but today we had to put him down. He had been sick, and we were hoping it was only kennel cough, or something of the like, but it was distemper. In those few short weeks, he had the ability to make everyone around him fall completely in love with him. I know he's not suffering anymore, and that he's in little doggie heaven, but the humans he left behind are mourning him.

Oh Laurie, that is so sad. Take solace in the fact that you gave him a loving home during his brief life.

Oh Laurie - I am sitting here with my mouth hanging open in shock. I am heartbroken for you. It was very clear that you were so in love with your puppy. You did the right thing, and cherish the time you had with him. The love we have for animals is such an unconditional thing - they are so special. Best wishes to you.
My heart is still breaking for you and John...and myself as well...such a sweet, sweet baby he was and although his time with you guys (us) was short, I loved him so...

I'm so sorry. I know the pain. After losing to dogs as a child/teen, I could never bring myself to have another again. :(
