Well, it's Day 3 of the challenge, but I post in the mornings so you get to hear about the night before! LOL
Last night, I worked until 8:30. It has been NUTS at work, and I don't see that improving anytime soon. All I have to say, is Hurray for Overtime!! Anyways, see how quickly I get off track? After I left work, I headed straight to the gym. I was already dreading my workout because all I wanted to do was cuddle with my dog and go to sleep. BUT, I changed my clothes in the locker room, and changed my attitude. I did 38 minutes (3 warmup, 30 workout, 5 cooldown) on the elliptical machine and then quickly proceeded to get my stuff and get the heck out of there lol.. My workout was easier than the Tuesday workout in a way, but harder in others. I felt myself overheating a lot, and I felt my heart beating in my ears.. I heard that's a blood pressure shift, but not sure. I didn't stop, but I slowed down a bit and kept drinking until it went away. All is good.. I didn't pass out, and I made it through my workout.
This morning I got to work at 7:45 because I had a meeting with some engineers at the City that I do billing for.. Well, no one let me know that my 9:00 am meeting was rescheduled to 11 am. OMG I was sooo pissed. I had to drive all the way past the Astrodome (30 minute drive, kind of shady area) to find out my meeting was rescheduled.. GRR!!! Anyways, I ended up not having to go to the meeting at all b/c they felt so bad about me heading out there.. haha! I didn't want to go anyways!
So today is my Everlast Shadowboxing (Description: Ever wonder how boxers get those great physiques? The trade secrets will be revealed in the Everlast Shadow Box workout! This total body conditioning class incorporates punches as well as athletic drills designed to get you ready for the ring. No plans on getting in a ring soon? No worries! Train like a boxer and you’ll be ready for whatever punches life throws your way!). I'm slightly nervous only because my body aches from exhaustion. Even the 5 flights of stairs in the parking garage made me gasp for air. I don't know if I should save this class for a day when I have a little more oompfh (is that how you spell it? LOL), or just suck it up and do it. I'm meeting Michelle and David at the gym, and regardless, I'm going to get some kind of exercise in.. just not sure which I should do today. I absolutely cannot wait for a good night's sleep and some energy!!!
A little look into my life.. Finding myself after having gastric bypass surgery, and the ups and downs along the way.

I'd say wait till you have more energy - so that you can truly see if you like the class. No reason to scare yourself and think it's harder than it is because of you being tired.
I am just starting a weight loss challenge myself. I hope your challenge goes well.
Kick but.
