Happy Friday, one and all!
This weekend I think I am going to start trying on new shoes for exercise. I don't know what I need though. I don't have the money to buy running shoes, cross trainers, walking shoes, etc. I would like a versatile shoe that isn't too heavy.. that I can use for the elliptical, for venturing into the C25K program, etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations for me? I know everybody's feet are different, but it'd be nice to have a place to start. It's a little overwhelming for me!!
Thanks in advance for your help!

The weekend is here! My plans so far:
Friday Night - I'm going to the gym. I'll most likely just do the elliptical tonight.
Saturday Morning - Muscle Blast class, then 45-60 minutes on the elliptical afterwards.
After that - I'm going to hit the showers, and then go to the Farmer's Market again, and maybe the Middle Eastern Market that is in town. I love Mediterranean pickles and hummus and all of that fun stuff.. It'd be interesting to see what they have there! I also LOVE cous cous as an alternative to other starchy items.
Sunday I haven't planned out yet, but I have lots of projects in the works. Wahoo!!!
Hope you all have a great weekend!!

I love Asics. I've had runners and cross trainers. Runners are lighter, but honestly it never made much of a difference to me. No walkers though- they are super padded and super heavy.
I'm an ASICS girl as well. I run in them and usually wear them for my cross training as well. They have a wide range of prices and a huge selection of shoes.
Good luck!
I don't know if this will help, but Costco has some good deals on athletic shoes. Payless does, too. I can do $30 range--$120, not so much!
